Founded in 1962 by Harold Isaacs, Hico Flex Brass Co., Inc. very quickly became THE benchmark supplier of many Plumbing Specialty categories.

Harold Isaacs’ vision and strategic investment into several seminal plumbing categories such as Sump Basins and Check Valves secured HICO Group as the leading supplier of these products. From humble beginnings in 1962 to the present day, bridging the 20th and 21st Century, HICO Group has added hundreds of product extensions and continually secures product categories like no other supplier to the Industry. Valves, Fittings, Repair Parts, Faucets…a cross section of over 2,000 SKUs continually expands.

Innovation was, and remains today, a driving force behind HICO Group’s success. Many of today’s popular brands are being supplied on an OEM basis by HICO Group’s wide range of products.

Line extensions of HICO Group has yielded an enhanced Vendor Opportunity to Plumbing Wholesalers, Hardware Retailers, and OEM customers alike; with a revised product offering implemented in 2004. The new HICO Group brand of products includes a vast array of Faucets & Handheld Showerheads as well as traditional Plumbing Specialty categories. The brand of Windy City Collection handheld showerheads has been absorbed into the new HICO Group brand product catalog.

To further enhance our strength of inventory and market domination, HICO Group has reorganized internally as well. Upgrades in Systems Software, Sales & Marketing platforms, as well as Sourcing & Inventory Fulfillment Programs have been implemented by HICO Group's executive team.
